Maharashtra Man binds Ola Scooter to the donkey, paraded around the city. This is the reason

New Delhi: After not receiving a satisfying response from Ola when his electric scooter was closed only a few days after he bought it, a man from Maharashtra held a unique protest. Sachin Gitte, from the Beed District, tied donkey to two -wheeled vehicles and paraded around the city with posters and banners urge people not to trust the company.

Clips distributed on Instagram by local news channels Letsupp Marathi showed a donkey withdrawing two wheels.

The two -wheeled stopped working almost six days after Gitte bought it, according to a report at ABP News. After he contacted the company, an Ola mechanic checked his scooter. However, no one came to fix it, stated the report. Mr Gitte also made many calls to customer service but only produced an ambiguous response over certain drugs.

As a result, he tied the two wheels to the donkey and gave it on Sunday with a banner stating, “Beware of this fraud company, Ola”, and “Don’t buy two wheels of Ola company”.

Protests caused a hocking in Parli and since then became viral on the internet.

Mr Gitte, a trader, reportedly even approached the consumer forum and complained that the bicycle had not been repaired or replaced. He even suggested that the government investigate Ola and take the right action, because he accused there was no financial protection for consumers from the company.

Mr Gitte ordered a scooter in September 2021, and was sent to him on March 24, 2022.

Following the burning vehicle report, Ola Electric announced the withdrawal of 1,441 units of his two -wheeled vehicle on April 24. This scooter will be evaluated by company service engineers and will undergo full diagnostics in all battery systems, thermal systems, and system security, according to the company.
