Former Chair of the National Securities Exchange Ashok Chawla told MoneyControl his letter to Sebi in 2018 said Anand Subramanian was ‘mysterious yogi’ in the NSE scam based on a forensic audit by the consulting company and that he had not been approached by these institutions as. Chawla served as NSE chairman between May 2016 and January 2019 and handled the NSE crisis related to alleged manipulation in the trading system after Chitra Ramkrishna stopped at the end of December, “personal reasons”.
