New Delhi: Check Point Research (CPR) has a ‘warning’ for LinkedIn users. The security company has released a 2022 Q1 phishing report that mentions Microsoft’s professional social networking website is most vulnerable to ‘attack hacking’. This report highlights the company and the brand that is mostly imitated by hackers this year to captivate users to release their personal data. LinkedIn Top in the list globally, marking more than 50% of all phishing attacks. This report shows how Cybercriminals tries to emulate the official website LinkedIn by using a domain name or URL and a similar web page. Links to fake websites are sent to individuals targeted via email or text messages. Other techniques include users diverted during web browsing or through fake cellular applications. This fraud website often contains forms intended to steal user credentials, payment details, and other personal information.
