New Delhi: Regular international flight back in India today after almost two years. Over the past two years, international flights have been operating in the arrangement of “air bubbles” with several countries due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Under the previous “air bubble” agreement, the number of flights was limited to around 2,000 weeks and ticket prices had soared. A total of 60 airlines from 40 countries can now fly to India during the summer schedule, which will start today until October 29.
Industry experts see this as a sign of hope and say that there may be some flight tickets for passengers. But the ongoing Ukrainian war will also play a role. The price of fuel has increased sharply last month since Russia launched military operations in Ukraine.
“Every time the capacity increases, the price of a toe ticket is down. The only factor that complicates this time is a war in Ukraine which produces oil prices discussing,” said Sanjiv Kapoor, CEO entered Jet Airways.
The travel portal witnessed a surge in search related flight because of the restrictions on international flights were lifted today.
“Very positive consumer sentiment at the moment. International flights that open are news Welcome. Our latest survey shows an agreement of all time in people who want to travel,” said Aloke Bajpai, one of the founders of the Ixigo Travel Portal.
Makemytrip the CEO of Rajesh Magow’s CEO echo sentiments say that they have increased by 40 percent in the search month to the moon.
“Dampener is still a tariff because of the war,” warned Mr. Mithow.
