The newly launched NEU application, which accommodates the brand brands of the Major Group of Croma to BigBasket, will be open to the brand outside the group, the executive chief N Chandrase is shown when handling a press conference to mark the application launch.
“Our goal is to ensure that NEU becomes a super application that simplifies the lives of every consumer from the point of view of products, services, and financial needs. And for that offerings may come from ordinances or may come from outside,” he added.
Digital system has launched the Neu application that is widely awaited last week. This application accommodates most Tata brands except for Vistara, Air India, Titan, Tanishq, Tata Motors, which is expected to immediately join the platform.
The press conference also saw the presence of Pratik PAL, CEO, Digital Cata and President of Mukesh Bansal, Founder of Cultur and MyNtra in addition to the Head of various brands of Tata Group.
Discussing the way forward for the application, PAL said that the company will launch a new category every quarter based on consumer demand.
“We have a road map to build a new category and on the trip if we need to load a brand new, we will do that,” he added.
The company, according to its peak management, will also be open to acquiring routes to other brands onboard in the application.
“Bigbasket and 1mg have become part of the platform through acquisition and we are open to inorganic routes too,” said Mukesh Bansal to MoneyControl.
Bansal joined the digital system in the executive role as president as soon as a subsidiary whom was fully owned by Tata Sons invested $ 75 million in the Cures last year.
Application, according to the top management of the company, has witnessed a phonomenal response and has been downloaded 2.2 million times.
“We were very surprised by the number of people shopping in our application. People shop in our application throughout the country,” Bansal said.
However, some users have complained about facing interference when using the application and have given a single star rating to the application on the Play Store. Digital Management emphasizes as long as the direction that this is the first version of the application and the user experience will improve forward.
“We have launched the initial version of the starting point and our brand is committed together in it with a value proposition, which is globally innovative and a little progressive from coins NEU,” Chandrase said.
“The Neu Pass is not just a loyalty program but also has an integrated financial credit pathway and is similar to instant loans, therefore, consumption becomes much simpler,” he added.
Neu Pass is a loyalty program introduced by digital systems in the NEU. Under this program, users collect coins for each transaction done on the application. These coins can then be used for future transactions at NEU. For example, coins are obtained when buying food from Bigbasket can be used to buy airplane tickets from AirAsia. That feature, the word management, is the “lure-lure” that will bring the user to the application.
