Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, Retail Sleeve Conglomerate Mukesh Ambani-LED conglomerate, on March 1 announced investment in the 30-year designer brand Abraham & Thakore (A & T) for “majority betting”.
The purpose of investment is to build a brand global appeal in the fashion market and lifestyle, said Reliance Retail.

Currently led by David Abraham’s trio design, Rakesh Thakore and Kevin Nigli, A & T was launched back in 1992. The interpretation of Indian textiles began with the loungewear and a collection of houses that were first sold in the Conran shop in London and then in global stores Liberty, Browns, Harrods, and Selfridges.
Abraham, Thakore and Nigli “will continue to lead the brand creative direction”, Reliance Retail states.
