Mother Dairy, Amul to hike milk prices by ₹2 per litre from tomorrow v

The leading supplier of milk mother and Amul has raised their milk prices in Delhi-NCR and other cities by ₹ 2 per liter with the effects from Wednesday due to an increase in procurement and other input costs.

Justifying the increase, Mother Dairy said “forced” to increase the price of liquid milk by ₹ 2 per liter. New prices will apply to all milk variants. Full cream milk will cost ₹ 61 per liter, up from ₹ 59 per liter.

The price of tight milk will increase to ₹ 51 while double -tight milk will rise to ₹ 45 per liter. The price of cow’s milk has increased to ₹ 53 per liter. The price of token milk has been raised to ₹ 48 from ₹ 46 per liter.

Federation of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing (GCMMF), which marketed dairy products under the Amul brand, has also raised prices in the Ahmedabad Market and Saurashtra region in Gujarat, Delhi NCR, Benggala Barat, Mumbai and all other markets where amulat milk, Delhi NCR, Bengal Barat, Mumbai and all other markets where amulat milk, milk, Delhi, West Bengal, Mumbai and all other markets where Amul Milk was sold, the PTI News Agency reported.
