The prices of gasoline and diesel remained unchanged for more than 100 days on February 28, according to the fuel retailers belonging to the state.

The last rate reduction was in Delhi when it reduced the local sales tax or value-added tax (VAT), gasoline from 30 to 19.4% from December 1st to midnight, carrying the price of About 8 to RS 95.41 per liter. The price of diesel remains unchanged in the national capital at 86.67 rupees one liter.

Nagaland had reduced the gas tax from 29.80 to 25% per liter, resulting in a saving of Rs 2.22.

Diesel tax rates have also been reduced by 11.08 rupees to 10.51 rupees per liter. Other states such as Western Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam and Meghalaya had also caught up their gasoline and diesel rates.

There was a price reageration in cities like Noida, Gurugram, Jaipur, Patna and Bhubaneswar, reported News18.

– Gurugram: Essence RS 95.81 and Diesel RS 87.02 per liter

– Noida: Gasoline RS 95.51 and Diesel RS 87.01 per liter

– Jaipur: Essence RS 106.64 and Diesel RS 90.32 per liter

– Patna: Essence RS 105.90 and Diesel RS 91.09 per liter

– BHUBANESWAR: Essence RS 101.70 and Diesel RS 91.52 per liter

On November 3, the government went for the deepest excise duty reduced the reduction of retail prices for high records, which reduces duty to gasoline by RS 5 and on diesel by RS 10. Many states and trade union territories have followed the head of the center to assume consumers.

In Mumbai, a reduction of 4 November reduced the price of gasoline to 109.98 Rs one liter, which remains unchanged. Diesel is at RS 94.14 one liter.

In prices of Kolkata, essence and diesel remained 104.67 RS and 89.79 rupees. Petrol sold to RS 101.40 and Diesel at RS 91.43 in Chennai.

The states that have so far not lowered VAT are mainly opposition studies, including Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. Western Bengal, Kerala, Thera, Thera, Threra, Telgana, and YSR Congress-directed – Andhra Pradesh has also not been cut off VAT.

The Punjab led Congress has experienced the largest decline in gas prices after reducing VAT, while the Ladakh’s territory has experienced the largest decline in diesel rates.
