Elon Musk's Latest Reason To Drop Twitter Deal - "Whistleblower Payment"

Elon Musk on Friday added severance payment made by Twitter to Whistleblower to the list of reasons he felt entitled to leave the $ 44 billion agreement to buy a social media platform.

The termination letter sent to Twitter accuses the company of not telling him about the multi-million dollar severance payment which was carried out in June to leave the Head of the Peiter of the Subahko, who then filed a complaint of whistleblower who criticized Twitter security practices, according to a copy of the letter submitted to the Commission Securities and exchanges.

Musk’s lawyer argues that failing to find his approval before paying a substance gives another legal basis to break the merger agreement with Twitter that he asks in April.

My friend seems to argue that Twitter should tell Musk that there are former employees who are dissatisfied who make various accusations that have been asked and found without achievement,” Twitter lawyer William Savitt said earlier this week.

Musk, the richest person in the world, said in his original termination letter that he canceled the agreement because he was submitted by Twitter about the number of BOT accounts on his platform, the accusation was rejected by the company.

In the mixed decision this week, Kathaleen McCormick, the Delaware Court Chancellor who oversees this case, said Musk could add Wahyu Whistleblowing from Batho which appeared in August.

But he denied his request to push back the litigation, said that extending the lawsuit “would be more risky to endanger Twitter to justify.”

Musk has been locked in a bitter legal battle with Twitter since announcing in July that he was withdrawing the company’s purchase plug after a complex dating, turbulent, months. The five -day trial will advance starting October 17 at the Delaware Court.
