CNG Becomes Costlier By Rs 2 Per Kg In Delhi-NCR. Know Latest Rates

New Delhi: In another punch for ordinary people, the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Delhi and neighboring areas have been climbed once again by RS 2 per kg. Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) raised the price of CNG in Delhi and an area next to a 2 kg Rs on the final Friday.

What is the latest price?

After this new increase, CNG is now sold at a price of RS 75.61 per kg in Delhi. For regions including Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG has increased to RS 78.17 per kg, while in Gurugram, the price of RS 83.94 per kg, according to the Ani News Agency.

This is an increase in -13 in more than two months. In the past year, prices have increased by RS 30.21 per kg or 60 percent, according to data compiled by the PTI News Agency.

However, the gas pipeline to the household kitchen, called the Natural Gas Piped (PNG), still does not change in RS 45.86 per SCM.

What causes price increases?

City gas distributors have raised prices regularly since October last year behind the increase in international gas prices when the global economy recovered from the slowdown of Pandemic.

Natural gas when compressed into CNG to be used as fuel in the car. The same gas is channeled into the kitchen and home industry for cooking and other destinations. Prices vary from city to city depending on local tax events such as VAT.

Gas distributor company, MD Sanjay Kumar told the Publication Times of India that tariffs will remain high in the near future because of the high international price of natural gas and management seeking operational costs to soften the blow to consumers.
