Amazon has extended the timeline to call his employees to the office, quoting the increase in the Delta variant of Covid-19 in the US. The company told update employees in a letter on Thursday.

Amazon was expected to refer to his staff to US offices from the second week of September. New decisions have now delayed this return until the beginning of next year. Now plan to restore regular office work among his workpower from January 3, 2022.

India Today Tech received access to internal emails by Amazon to its employees. In his letter, Amazon stated that the timeline returned to this office would “vary globally according to local conditions.” The promise to notify the employees is planned as and when any update is available, and it will give a few weeks notice about these changes.

“We realize that many of you need to plan for yourself and your family when you return to the office, and we will continue to update these local pages as soon as we have new information to be shared,” he wrote.

In the letter, it was stated that all Amazon offices remained open and that their employees were “mostly back in the office” in several regions in the world. It also highlights “strong safety protocol” followed in his office to ensure employee security.
With this, Amazon became a major of other technologies to delay the reopening of his office full. Late last month, Facebook and Google announced a similar extension of their voluntary work policy – from home, which allowed their employees to work remotely for several more months. Microsoft followed him earlier this month, expanding the reopening of his own office space.

However, unlike the other three, Amazon has not introduced a vaccine mandate for his employees who have worked from the office. While Facebook, Google and Microsoft have asked employees to bring evidence of vaccination before entering the office, Amazon sticks to the use of facial masks as the only prerequisite for office returns.

The consecutive decision by the Tech Department came as a US related to increasing fear of Delta Covid-19 variant. The technology giant response to the new phase of the pandemic is likely to form other members’ actions in the industry. TV
