Prices of gasoline and diesel remain unchanged for the 14th day in a row on November 18.
The government cut customs for gasoline by Rs 5 per liter and on diesel by Rs 10 per liter on November 3 to contain a surge in wild fuel prices.

After asking for a reduction in excise duties, the government urges countries to reduce value added tax (PPN) on fuel to provide assistance to consumers.
The total incidence of taxes on gasoline has dropped to 50 percent and in diesel to 40 percent.
The retail price of gasoline and diesel was decided after adding central excise, the commission was paid to dealers and VAT to basic oil prices. Basic oil prices are international benchmark levels that apply plus transportation.
